Donte's coaching philosophy comes from a passion for teaching, in turn producing generational winners. Donte understands the human element, ensuring each player is fully and adequately equipped with knowledge, confidence, and the tools required for success. Donte models work ethic, impacting the game on both ends of the floor. Winning is a standard of consistency, the secrets to winning are in the details. A healthy culture is the only way to win. You must consistently win in the locker room before you can win on the court.

WHY DOES DONTÉ COACH?
Donté's mission as a coach and leader of a basketball program is to serve, guide, and empower players with the necessary discipline and tools to be effective on and off the basketball court. The goal is for the athlete to perform at their highest level possible not limited to the performance on the court. Donte understands that coaching is not just physical. Emotional and mental health are imperative pieces for immediate success, ultimately leading to long-term success after basketball.

Donté has had many opportunities to be a part of exceptional programs. Whether that's been coaching in top international leagues such as China, Vietnam, and Japan in addition to countless NBA players. Donte is a bridge of culture, and a firm believer in diversity within his circle, personally and professionally. Donté's coaching weapon is the vast experiences he's had with players across the world, furthering his consistent message that we are all created equal. Donte has developed strategy in all settings through the relationships and experiences that have shaped him into the exceptional coach and leader he is today.
